For an existing network we provide the audit service, evaluating it according to the standards with which it was designed. We can offer a single installation audit or the random performance tests of 10% of your network (if you have the time to perform them). The consulting service allows you to know the current status of your network infrastructure as well as the preventive and corrective maintenance recommendations to maintain optimal operations.

We have two audit levels for your network depending on your needs and budget:

• General Audit: It is a review of your entire network and systems, giving you a document that mentions the current status, improvement areas, critical problems and non-critical problems. As well as a series of recommendations of the different systems.
• Detailed Auditing: It is a detailed review of your network and systems, giving you a document that mentions everything that is delivered in the General Audit plus a review of the design of your network, applicable performance calculations and evaluation; Suggested solutions to be implemented in the short, medium and long term for the different systems of your network. If the client does not want the detailed audit of their entire network, we offer:
  1. Audit of one or several systems in your network: It is a detailed review of one or some of the systems in your network in which you are interested to evaluate, allowing the client to focus on a critical area for their operation and that fits your budget. A document that mentions the current state of the system that was evaluated is delivered, areas that are susceptible to improvements, critical problems and non-critical problems, as well as a series of recommendations to improve the system.

Project Management

The project manager will be the consultant who will coordinate the different areas and companies that are in the design and construction of their network.

Our Project Administration service includes:

• Evaluation of the integrators / installers / contractors during the selection contest.
• Observations and suggestions of the materials to be acquired.
• Coordinator of the project meetings, auditor of the work and provide periodic reports on the progress of the project.
• Monitor the progress of the work against the project schedule.
• Manage project changes and exemptions during implementation.
• List and supervise the testing procedures to be carried out for the various systems as well as the commissioning of the network (commisioning)

Performance tests of copper and/or optical fiber wiring

Knowing the real state of your network wiring is not only desirable but essential. In many cases, the installer tests against a standard or a different specification than the one specified by the user, which is why tests are not valid. That is why BP-Consulting IT offers performance tests of its wiring based on the standards that your project specifies or on the application that will run on it. These tests can be total or a random sample, where the client and our specialists will determine what percentage is feasible to test if the network is already in use.

For optical fiber tests, level 1 tests will be run or when the project requires it, level 2 tests. In addition to this, tests of the terminal face of the connectors can be made to determine if preventive or correctie maintenance is required.

Supervision of local area networks (LAN), external plant networks and Data Centers

We typically design, audit and suggest some companies for their network implementation, however, if our services were not incorporated in the design part we can offer you the supervision service of the work, which can be extended to documents review and complementing them with three documents that will contain our observations at 35%, 65% and 95% of the progress of the project to ensure that your network meets its requirements and applicable standards.
